What is the format and structure of the GMAT?

The GMAT is composed of four distinct sections: Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA), Integrated Reasoning (IR), Quantitative Reasoning, and Verbal Reasoning.

The AWA section requires candidates to analyze an argument and write an essay.

The IR section tests the ability to interpret and analyze data presented in various formats.

The Quantitative Reasoning section evaluates mathematical and problem-solving skills.

The Verbal Reasoning section assesses reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and sentence correction skills.
